Some time ago, I watched the Netflix adaptation of "Watership Down" and I fell in love with it. Shortly after, I bought the book and read it and I fell in love with the world and those rabbits. The emotions in that book are intense, and for someone like me, I really felt like I was there, so this song was inspired by the feelings and emotions I felt when reading the book.
Originally titled "The Down", the initial inspiration for this song came from wondering what it must have felt like for those rabbits to happen upon Watership Down after all of the troubles they had gone through up to that point. This song has been in production for some time because I wanted to try and capture the feelings I had when reading that part. Honestly, this didn't turn out how I had wanted it to, but in an effort to get it finished quickly, I made a short, sweet banger song that I decided would work perfectly for short-form media such as TikTok, Instagram Stories, and Facebook Reels.
