Training at work has been the most boring thing imaginable. Mind-numbing. So, I do pensketches of completely random bullshit, off the top of my head, with no references or sanity.
The Partners cast in Gravity Falls style was pretty fun, though I did the eyes too big.

Also... the transparent one might work if the projected screen is only visible from limited angles (can't see it from the back or sides). Also, why is that top left one 'impractical'?

The top left is impractical for the same reason that we gave up cathode-ray televisions. The image is distorted by the bend, and the edges might as well be invisible for the fact that they get bent backward right over the screen.

hmm, PET designs, what about an item that is like a small bandaid, put over the cheek bone it projects up onto your glasses/sunglasses or onto whatever item you hold infront of you if you don't have that item on at the time and can be manipulated by a ring you wear on one of your index fingers? :P
