Fun fact: I can make designs that even I don't understand.
Thankfully, I sat down and sketched this out at work, allowing me to figure out exactly how to draw these two dorkmonsters' peepers.

Carrie was interesting because her very rounded, almost circular eyes took me back to drawing Ranma style- like Akane and Shampoo and Ranchan- and I can't help but feel like that's appropriate. She'd probably fit right in. Her lashes especially are just very thick all around and make a point of how much she dolls herself up.

Natalie is a great example of post-splice humanity. The wolf muzzle, once long and fit to snap bone in her ancestors, is now short, fit for chomping bagels and kissing (Much to Carrie's delight, the tongue remains largely the same). But it was with this in mind that I opened either end of her eyes, leaving only the top and bottom lines to define them. It gives a sense of softness, a wide focus that isn't as sharp and predatory as this eye shape usually is. You'll notice Natalie doesn't wear or give a crap about makeup, so I chose to represent that as not having visible lashes except for in a big close-up.

Gropey's a grabber. He lives on Max's head.
