To keep this post focused, if you are curious as to what OWOP is, please see the following post that has much more information:

Holy moly it's already that time again! Time to gear up for the next One Week, One-Piece (OWOP) 2024! This year it starts on that last day in June. Specifically, you'll want to mark your calendar for June 30th to July 6th!
If you're new, please take a moment to see the mentioned post above for a bit more info on what this event is and how you can participate if you'd like. If you're not new, and you'd like to participate in this years' event, I will provide you with this recommended set of milestones to follow in the coming months. It's by no means something you have to do, but I recommend it so that you can be ready for the event and you don't have to stress about a deadline (which is especially something to consider if you are a commissioner, and especially if you want to get a pic with other people / multiple characters):
* By the end of February, have your idea for this year solidified. * By the end of April, make sure you have an artist on board (if you are a commissioner) and any permissions you might need from others. * By June 19th, I recommend having your artwork complete by this date (let the artist know way ahead of time) so that it can be ready to post during the event; otherwise, it should be well underway! * Before the end of June, make sure you've got your post ready to go up between June 30th and July 6th!
Like last year, I'll post a reminder at each of these milestones. I will also be posting a complementary journal for this and the other reminder posts this year, as some have given me feedback that they miss the posts when they are in a gallery; so I apologize for what some may consider "double spam." If you do not like those journals, please feel free to mute me for journals.
Also, as always, if you have any questions or if you want to notify me about your participation (or notify me that you want to be on the DNP list for "found" posts), please feel free to comment here or send me a PM.
Until the next milestone update, I hope the start of your year is pleasant.
