What is One Week One-Piece?

One Week One-Piece (OWOP) is an event I started last year / 2021.

I have a fetish very emphatic apprecion for one-pieces; bathing suits, leotards, bunnygirl outfits (inverted counts, too), and teddies (the lingerie, not the bear), and any other niche outfits I may have missed.

OWOP is an event I started as a fun way to help feed my insatiable void for share this fetish appreciation with others :3c

I do this by scouring InkBunny (and Baraag) for pictures featuring the theme, as well as encouraging those that want to participate. During the week that the 4th of July falls on (Sunday through Saturday), I post various showcases of the pictures I've found and the participants' pictures they've done (with proper credit to artists and commissioners of course).

This event appeared to be well-received last year, so this year I'm making it a little more formal and using submissions instead of journals. Which is why I have these covers now :D

What are the showcases?

The showcases are posts (were journals) that I put together that have several pictures in them. These showcases are divided into the following categories:

* SFW
* NSFW (Cubs/Adults)
* NSFW (Adults Only)

Each showcase has a Participants section, where I prominently showcase one or two of the people that participated in the event (if available); and a Found section, where I put several of the pictures I scoured from InkBunny and Baraag. I also have a Personal section, where I share a picture or two that I've personally posted for the event.

I do my best to respect others' boundaries and place pictures in the most appropriate category. While I am partial to girls, the showcases feature boys and other genders, so long as the focus of the picture is around one-piece outfits (pictures heavily focused on other fetishes are generally omitted).

How do I participate?

Participation is for those here on IinkBunny or on Baraag.

To participate in the event: During the week of the event, post a picture (or story) with the tag one_week_one_piece and/or owop (seen on this post) and I will do my best to feature it in a showcase once I see it. You can be an artist or a commissioner, though if you are going to commission please be considerate of the deadline (the week of July 4th). Please also use either characters you own, have permission to use, or in general just follow proper courtesy when it comes to character use for the event. You can post any time during that week.

On Baraag, use #oneweekonepiece (and maybe DM me the link to your post if I don't find it, I stink at Baraaging).

If you want to let me know about your participation ahead of time, you can send me a DM to let me know what showcase type you plan for and I can make a note of it and see if you're still interested when it gets closer.

the intent is to create a picture for the event, not to simply take an old post and use it. However, there is a "Throwback Thursday" which, if you have an old post, I will put up a notice for suggestions closer to the event.

How are the Showcases made?

The short answer is that it's partly generated, and then the rest are done by hand.

The long answer: I have a script I've written that takes all of the "Found" pictures from the past year, and generates files in an IB-Ready format for me to paste into the "Found" section of the Showcase Templates. The program is responsible for shuffling the deck, as well as making sure that if I have several pics by the same artist, that artist is evenly distributed (per gallery).

From there, I have to manually set up the rest because my Personal pics are posted during the week (I can do part of this section but I still need the link) and then I need to wait for any Featured posts.

So all of the Showcases are more hot-off-the-press than not.

What is the process for "Found" pictures?

Any picture posted between June 1st and May 31st that fits the theme will be a candidate for a "Found" picture in one of the Showcases in the upcoming OWOP. Beyond that, the only thing I look for is whether or not there are any other heavy themes (such as WS or unusual proportions) and omit any where those other themes outweigh the picture. I also look for how prominent the one-piece is in the picture. If it's in the background, not likely to be included; but other characters not in one-pieces does not preclude a picture. Quality of the picture is also a factor.

There is no other criteria; rating, gender, age, species, etc., mix thereof, are not considered. Age, rating, and context, are only considered with regard to what Showcase the picture is placed into.

How do I not participate; like, at-all at all?

Chances are you will see a notification of being mentioned in one of the Showcases and that's when you will realize you were roped up in this event. This may not be for you and for that I apologize. Please send me a PM or comment in the Showcase notifying me about this, and I will remove your post(s) from the Showcase(s). I will also delete your comment(s) (if that's how you notified me) so that it is as if you were never involved in the first place.

I will also add your username to a DNP list. This DNP list is a part of a program used to generate the Showcases, so (with the exception of missed credit of you, a missed username change, or a bug), you can be rest-assured that my program will help prevent me from including you in another Showcase in the future. Because I'll be honest I'll forget to check; that's why I wrote it in there.

If you do wind up getting posted again, even after notifying me, I deeply apologize. I will repeat the process and do my best to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Will AI Generated Art be included?

Short answer: No

Long answer:

AI Generated art, I feel, defeats the purpose of the event. The point of the event is for people who are creative and can go through the process of that creation--or who are willing to support another person monetarily via commission who can go through that process of creation for them.

I do my best to avoid including AI Generated art in the "Found" section of Showcases.

I do not want participants to use AI Generated art for the event. If you use AI Generated art for the event, I will not be able to feature your results. I apologize if you were given AI Generated art as a commission, but I will still not be able to include it in any showcases.

There will not be themed showcases for AI Generated art.

However, I cannot prevent you from including the tags.
