This is the Christmas tree at the home of Albert and Margret Coyote and cubs; Jed, Rex, and Donna.
This is in Duran, New Mexico during the night of Christmas Eve of the year 1960. Jed, Rex and Donna had put out some chocolate chip cookies for Santa Bear that Mama Marge had baked. At the present time of this scene, the radio is playing Here Comes Susie Snowflake. https://youtu.be/BcA-AXz8jRs?t=21
Eight year old Clarence Coyote is not present at this time. Clarence had arrived in a time travel machine from the year 2018 on February 9th and was temporarily adopted by Al and Marge Coyote. In August of 1960, Clarence was able to return to the future year of 2018 where he came from to be reunited with his natural family. However, somewhere in the future, Clarence Coyote would be celebrating Christmas with his natural parents; Charley and Alice with his natural siblings; Jack and Rhonda...In the year 2018, 1960 was 58 years ago.
Whether or not you are old enough for this to bring back old memories, I wish you all a Merry Christmas.
When I was preparing this picture, I was looping the Susie Snowflake song and the Ray Conniff Singers version Jolly Old Saint Nickolas (though that version was released in the mid 1960s). Jolly Old St. Nicholas / Ray Conniff Singers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Qd69yuOc6c
