The pond's sole occupant, Mushu, had been below the surface for several minutes, long enough that it had settled again. By now, the occasional bubbles were the only indication of both someone being underwater and that that someone would eventually need air, as even after this much time the dragon didn't yet feel any urge to breathe. He paused his happy swimming to rest for a while, looking up at the surface as he floated in place. With a puff of bubbles from his nostrils, Mushu reduced his buoyancy and allowed himself to sink deeper into the pond, eventually laying on its bottom. Even now, it was still going to be a while until his need for a breath would keep him from relaxing, and he planned on making the most of it.
