Tabaxi architecture is weird. While it makes attempts to follow conventions set by other races (maybe they have good ideas), verticality is important. Pathways rarely make sense to non-Tabaxi, going up, over, around, through seemingly at random (though in reality the path is most direct). Stairs, ladders and other expected conventions simply aren't there in dedicated Tabaxi spaces. You can jump, right? Climb?
