If we are to pay for life with our death, then naturally those who shirk this debt are to be abhored. Necromancy, the undead, and all who fancy themselves immortal are anathema to Mictlan's church.

Even healing spells, being part of the necromantic domain, are looked upon with suspicion. It is better to heal via potions than magic, though there is a certain level of practicality associated with healing spells. They do work... better.
