Several posts in, and my very own confident little mousy girl, Melecia, still didn’t have her own Character Sheet.  D’aww .... Well, she thinks it’s about time she got some more attention !!!

STORY:

Melecia’s stepdad took her to the park nearest their home for some outdoor playtime during the weekend.
“ Hey, dad !!  Snap a picture of me playin’ in my new outfit at the park, so’s I can share with my friends ! ” she requests.
“ Alright, dear.  OK, strike a fun pose and say cheese for the camera, sweetpea ! ” as he lines up her camera-phone.
“ And princess, why are you barefoot, again ?  You mother and I told you, please keep your shoes on when you're outside, dear .... your feet will get all dirty, and who knows what things could be in the grass here …. you don’t want to get a prickly in your feet, now do you honey ?” he says with a slight shake of his head (this kid, sometimes….)
“ CHEEEEESE ! ” She spouts with a big smile, as he snaps the pic for her to share with her friends and big sister later on.
Stepdad does his best to be the “chill” father and not to scold her about the bare feet, so, he just smiles and gently underhanded tosses her shoes back to her from where he sits at the park bench.
Melecia just enjoys the feeling of the late summer grass under her feet, ya know ?  After all, the seasons always change too soon.
She runs back to stepdad to review the pic on her pink phone. “ Gotta look good for my friends ! ” she explains.
“Hey, maybe going shoeless is better for at home in the backyard, rather than the public park, okay honey ? ” Stepdad explains nicely to her, as she nods with a slightly sarcastic “Ugh, okayyy pops…”.
Oh well, a girl’s gotta have some fun !
