Having recently found out how dense brine pools are, and that there happened to be one near where he lived, Blubby decided to go check it out. With his goggles to keep his eyes safe from the extreme pressure of the deep sea, and the biggest breath he could manage, he dove into the ocean and began his long undersea trip.
Half an hour later and over a mile underwater, he finally arrived at the somewhat eerie-looking greenish pool. He poked at it a few times to be sure it was safe, then hopped in, and while he still sank inside it, it was much slower than normal. It gave him an idea; he paddled at the water, still remembering how to swim from back when he hadn't yet accepted it was impossible for him, and he lifted off the bottom! Blubby gave a wide smile and went back to the pool's surface, enjoying his first ever swim thanks to the brine pool's extremely dense water. He wished he could stay here for longer, but it was a LONG way back to air from here, and while it had been quick going down, the return trip would easily take him an hour. He'd certainly be back, though!
