Triachnid and this lizard are in a race with several others to see who can swim through a maze of flooded tubes first. The lizard straight up doesn't need to breathe, so even though he dove in pretty late, he has a huge advantage. Feeling bad for Triachnid, who was hopelessly lost and starting to run out of breath, he let them ride him to the end, eventually pausing to exhale an air bubble for them to breathe.
