Mira - no sense of responsibility as leader accompanied by Chili - (full of) self-doubt, Leo - Arrogant, Nigel - self-righteous and Tristan - no self-confidence. So far, the group seems to be more of an embodiment of sins/bad qualities than a "classic" hero group. I'm curious to see what happens on their noble quest(s) to change that. Best conditions for an exciting, entertaining comic.

and there it is. As much as I don't like the tree and what they did to Nigel I can't exactly say he doesn't deserve it, or at least had it brought upon him. He's quite literally blind with arrogance and rage. Then again, if I spent my life up until that point being trained to be a knight only for not only the tree to reject me, but my family too, I'd be blind by rage as well.

This story makes me constantly reevaluate the difference between learning and being groomed into something. Kinda hits home too much with a character that manipulates people and if she doesnt get her way, she outright fcks them up like blinding, all for the purpose of turning individuals into mommy's little soldiers.
What makes it even worse is that i know its supposed to be a light hearted journey into becoming a better person. And its everything but that. Literally everything but that.
