Episode 19: Sally And The Masquerade
One day, as Sally was headed for school, she saw traffic was high, as police were stopping cars.
"I wonder what's going on," Sally asked herself as she saw Amy coming.
"Amy? When did you get out of the hospital," Sally said, seeing he was depressed, and still thinking about Starwing.
"Oh, Sally. Sorry, I have been thinking about someone who may or may not love me," Amy said.
"I see. Well, we should get going before we're late," Sally said as she took her hand and ran. Amy felt excitement as Sally pulled her.
"O-Okay, just go easy on me," Amy said. The two managed to get in as the first bell rang, as Antoine came to her.
"Miss Sally, have you heard? The Princess from the kingdom of Sylvania is arriving here," Antoine said.
"Sylvania," Sally asked.
"Yeah, I heard they have a collection of rare gems, and tonight, they're hosting a embassy reception," Antoine said.
"Really now," Sally said.
"Indeed. They say she will inherit the royal family heirloom, which is called the Legendary Secret Treasure," Antoine said.
"Don't worry, Sally. Since my mom runs a jewelry store, we are invited to the showing tonight," Amy said.
"I see. I hope you have fun," Sally said. Back at the Acorn house, Luna was looking at a newspaper.
"Princess Sonia from the kingdom of Sylvania arrives in Knothole with the royal family's Legendary Secret Treasure. I need to check this out," Luna said. Meanwhile, at Queen Ruby's throne, where the evil queen heard about it.
"The Legendary Secret Treasure. I wonder if it's the Legendary Silver Crystal," Queen Ruby said.
"I will go check it out for you," Nightrose said, when Starwing came out.
"Don't bother. I will handle the matter," Starwing said.
"Stop butting in. Finding the silver crystal is my job," Nightrose said.
"I am responsible for all activities on Mobius," Starwing said.
"That's a lot to cover," Nightrose said.
"Starwing, I will grant your request. If this secret treasure is indeed the silver crystal, then we must acquire it immediatly," Queen Ruby said. Later, Nightrose is in another chamber angry about Starwing stealing her job. However, she is being petted and comforted by another general, a male dog with silver fur and black ears.
"Be patient, my dear Nightrose. The impatient always loses," the dog said.
"But I can't, Silverclaw," Nightrose," Nightrose said.
"Queen Ruby said he is doing it because he is forced to succeed. Let's see what he has planned. We can get rid of him when it suits us so," Silverclaw said. The next day, at the temple Blaze works in, Sally and Luna discussed everything to Nicole and Blaze.
"What, a princess," Nicole said.
"That's right, and it occured to me that this Princess Sonia could be the one we're looking for," Luna said.
'We should dismiss it until we can look into it," Nicole said.
"But the event is invitation only, and heavily guarded," Sally said.
"That's true, but it is our mission. We should think about how to get in," Blaze said. Later, as Sally got home, she and Luna thought as Sally looked at the disguise pen.
"I could go into the reception in disguise, but as I said, it's invitation-only," Sally said.
"Don't worry, I have an idea. I bet they'd let you in if you were disguised as a princess," Luna said.
"Okay. Moon power, transform me into a beautiful princess," Sally said as the pen transformed her clothes into a blue princess dress.
"Okay, this will take getting used to. But what if the guards find out," Sally said.
"Don't worry. Blaze managed to pull some strings. When you come, they will recognize you," Luna said. At the embassy, Sally walked up, as Nicole and Blaze looked on.
"Are you sure she'll get in," Nicole said.
"Don't worry. With my psychic powers, I manage to put a hypnosis on the guards," Blaze said as Sally approached the checkpoint.
"Aw, Princess Sarah of Acornia. Right this way," the guard said as Sally was let in the ballroom.
"Wow, it's like something out of a fairy tale," Sally said. She saw many couples dancing, with Amy dancing with a bat that is familiar. However, a dancer spilled wine on her dress, and she ran out. In another hall, Tuxedo Mask Fox was looking at a room protected by guards.
"If the Silver Crystal is here, then it can tell me who I really am," he said when he saw Sally looking around.
"That girl. She looks like the one in my dreams," Tuxedo Mask Fox said. He went to her, as she was alone, and he saw her.
"Would you do me the honor," Tuxedo Mask Fox said. Sally saw her and was happy.
"Tuxedo Mask Fox is here," Sally thought to herself as the two danced, not knowing Starwing has put evil energy into Amy. As she was let in, the dark energy transferred into Sonia, making Amy faint. As the guards came in, they saw Sonia steal the treasure. When the alarm rang, Luna came to Sally.
"Sally, we have a situation. Princess Sonia took the Secret Treasure and ran to the balcony," Luna said. Sally followed her up to stop her, only to be thrown off the balcony, with Tuxedo Mask Fox saving her. Nicole and Blaze saw this along with the crowd, as Luna attacked Sonia.
"Tuxedo Mask Fox, you pest. You want to die with a princess, it's your lucky day," Starwing said as he prepared an attack.
"Fire Soul," Blaze yelled as she launched her attack to distract the villain, and when the flames died down, he saw her with Nicole, the two already transformed.
"How dare you. I will not let you harm those two," Blaze Mars said. After Tuxedo Mask Fox and Sally got down, Nicole Mercury stopped the redfox.
"Hey, who are you," Nicole Mercury asked.
"I wish I could answer that, but I can't. That's the reason I need to find the Legendary Silver Crystal," Tuxedo Mask Fox said as he escaped. Sally soon transformed into Sally Moon, her princess disguise turning into ribbons that formed her sailor suit. As the crowd went towards Princess Sonia, Starwing, hiding in a back alley, focusing his power.
"Come to life, my little puppet," Starwing said, as Sonia came to life. Blowing the crowd away, revealing the three heroines.
"I am Sailor Moon," Sally Moon said.
"I am Nicole Mercury," Nicole Mercury said.
"I am Blaze Mars," Blaze Mars said.'
"And let me tell you, you are going to pay for possessing the soul of Princess Sonia," Sally Moon said.
"Yeah, well, I'm leaving with the Legendary Secret Treasure," Princess Sonia said as she floated off the balcony. Blaze Mars got her ofuda scroll and made a chant and threw it onto Sonia's back, causing a dark spirit looking like Starwing to emerge and fire a black wind at the three.
"Your deaths will be slow and painful," Starwing said.
"I can't move," Blaze Mars said.
"We need to do something, or we're finished," Sally Moon said.
"I have an idea. Hope it works," Nicole Mercury said as she used her Bubble Spray attack to stop the attack.
"To pull such a mean trick on Princess Sonia is shameful. In the name of the moon, I'll punish you," Sally Moon said as she got her tiara and did her Moon Tiara Action attack, defeating spirit. As the three helped Sonia, Luna came up.
"Hello, are you the princess we've been looking for," Luna asked.
"Thanks for the help, Sally Moon, but why is that cat talking," Princess Sonia said.
"Let's just say she's with me," Sally Moon said.
"Sounds fair enough," Sonia said.
"I guess that is a no," Luna said. Later, Sonia unveiled the treasure, which was a a diamond statue, as Starwing saw it with his mind.
"What a waste of my time and energy," Starwing said. Later, Sally looked at the night sky on the balcony, hoping that their search would be successful.
