Kanya is such a lovable bean that I can't help but be happy whenever I write for her in my novels. She seems pretty simple on the surface, but she has many layers and depth to her character - something that becomes evident when you realize how long she's been alive and the fact she probably was around prior to anyone in the current narrative even being born! She's had centuries of experience and knowledge, yet that does not diminish her zeal for life and certain aspects in it. I'd like to think she tends to go unnoticed, blending in with the local flora to the point you wouldn't even know she was there unless she made herself known. Perhaps the only thing you might notice odd would be two glowing, incandescent golden eyes staring out at you from between the ferns.
