Kanya is a different style of creature. She is a mix of several species mashed together and popped out during a botched attempt from a dragon at blending two separate species to create viable litters. As a result, she triggers the instinctual flight-or-fight response in any sapient species that behold her visage. At first, she had no idea why this was happening, but later on she figured it out. Initially, it was hurtful, but after centuries of this, she turned it into a game and grew to love freaking people out over the way she looked. If she couldn't change it, she might as well enjoy it. However, common animals and bugs as such butterflies graced her presence without fear. It was just another reason why she adored nature a lot better than civilized societies.
