Seems TeaDog from the world of our friend BSDX has been captured, um, I mean, 'called over' by Gene and Tasli to pose for art.

TEADOG: "How long do I have to wear this bun?"

TASLI: "Long enough for Gene to draw you and earn the badge for his DeviantArt!"

GENE: "Now lie flat, please, TeaDog! I'm going for realism!"

[Gene begins to scribble]

GENE: "Hm--needs ketchup"

[Tasli squeezes ketchup onto TeaDog's back]

TEADOG (vexed): "Hey! No one said anything about real ketchup!"

TASLI: "'Realism', remember?"

[Gene continues to scribble]

GENE: "Mustard!"

TASLI: "On it!"

GENE: "Chili"

TASLI: "Yes, sir!"

GENE: "Slaw!"

TASLI: "Comin' right up!"

GENE: "...And I think maybe a cherry on top!"

TEADOG (angry): "That's for ice cream, not hot dogs!"

TASLI: "Picky, picky!"

[Gene presents his masterpiece]

GENE: "Ta-da!"

TEADOG (angry): "That looks nothing like me! It's a normal hot dog!"

GENE: "What part of 'realism' did you miss?"

TEADOG (frustrated): "So why didn't you just use a real hot dog as a reference!?"

TASLI (winking): "This was more fun!"

Participating earns one a Hot Dog badge ...but you know me and my autism---I can't just draw the subject like a normal person, I have to make a comic instead! XD

The featured pencil is a mid-century ad pencil for Brooks Catsup.

'Catsup'? It's 'Ketchup!' D: ...right?

On second thought, this could end like those 'soda vs pop' debates---best to quit while I'm ahead here (it's 'soda', btw) *shot*

Brooks Catsup is still made today, but it's scarce. That said, the brand is best known for its bottle-shaped water tower which, much like those 'World's Largest Ball of Twine' type things, is a tourist attraction (ie, 'trap'). ^^

They have a FESTIVLE!? O.O If they sell / give away those pencils I'm THERE!
Damn it's tomorrow (July 8 Saturday) that I won't be able to attend as I'm waaay far away!
I'LL MISS THE HULA-HOOP CONTEST!!! :(
But...oh well. Maybe next year. :)

I think TeaDog needs to be glad Gene didn't want him to pose as a CORNDOG! ;D
