The featured pencil is a mid-century ad pencil for Brooks Catsup.

On second thought, this could end like those 'soda vs pop' debates---best to quit while I'm ahead here (it's 'soda', btw) *shot*
Brooks Catsup is still made today, but it's scarce. That said, the brand is best known for its bottle-shaped water tower which, much like those 'World's Largest Ball of Twine' type things, is a tourist attraction (ie, 'trap'). ^^
They have a FESTIVLE!? O.O If they sell / give away those pencils I'm THERE! Damn it's tomorrow (July 8 Saturday) that I won't be able to attend as I'm waaay far away! I'LL MISS THE HULA-HOOP CONTEST!!! :( But...oh well. Maybe next year. :)
