This submission was posted on June 27, 2023 at the time of FA's body proportions rule, and has nothing to do with Dragoneer's passing away a year later.

At the time of this posting, it is four days away from when the new rule on Furaffinity takes effect.
That rule is any character in a sexual situation has to be drawn with a body of adult human proportions.
Picture how whacked out Nick and Judy from Furtopia, or the Pokemon characters would look drawn that way.

I saw a few drawings here on IB posted in humor about the new rule after FA announced it.
I figured I'd get on that humor bandwagon with this one.

I mean, if its their website, this is true, they can do what they want. the question is, are they prepared for what comes AFTER they do that?

It wouldn't be the first time. The first cub ban was handled so badly, they lost a lot of customers and funding and had to be bailed out by IMVU. This really feels like self sabotage for the sake of stoking some egotistical artists's pride...again...

I have characters in NSFW drawings on FA that will likely put my account there on their purge list on July 1st.
I'm considering posting this on FA a day or two before their new ruling takes effect.

I don't think this is entirely accurate. The administration have addressed the issues taken by most of the users, and they have stated that characters like Nick and Judy do not need to be made larger; they just need to have the same proportions that they have in the movie; seeing as they are adults in the movie.

What I got from reading the ruling when FA first announced it was, if it's NSFW the characters have to be drawn in adult human proportions.

Yes, and I don't think that's at all unreasonable. However, they have addressed that canonically small characters may be kept small in NSFW drawings, so long as their body proportions are those of an adult.

So if someone wanted to make a NSFW drawing of Judy Hopps, they wouldn't have to make her five feet tall. All they would need to do is make sure her body that of an adult rabbit.

So what got me about this new rule is, when it comes to Digimon, if was really about the level etc... Renamon is a Rookie level.

Go on then, Fur Affinity, remove all the Renamon porn. She's underage. She's a child.

In all seriousness though I'm *personally* not too worried about my own gallery there, and I came to FA from DeviantArt which was just as bad about enforcing rules poorly, but then again FA's administration has proven to be less than competent in the past and prone to bias and the whims of the admins.
