After the war with Talkar, Taylor found herself in the unique position of being a celebrity again. However, it wasn't in underground clubs or in the exclusive private sectors of Zabokar anymore, but on the world stage where people of multiple countries knew who she was and that she indeed had a tailmaw named Ahya who was very much real. She was an anomaly that had to be seen to be believed - a person unlike any other who had mouth in her tail that could seemingly think and act on its own. However, since she was landlocked to Talkar for political reasons, people had to come travel far and wide to attend her concerts that she decided to start up again - however under a new band name: Eldritch Downtrodden. Even her brother, Max, helped for a time playing the drums until they could find a suitable replacement since he and Marle wanted to head back north for a more quieter lifestyle.
Taylor knew she was being used as a figurehead for the agendas of the current regime in Talkar, but as long as the promise held that her family would be under the protection of the emperor, she didn't see any immediate qualms for being that spokeswolf for the combined partnership between mammals, birds and reptiles. Although now a mother, she still made time after grueling concerts to meet with some of her fans who paid through the nose for a backstage exclusive pass. Taylor was cautious to keep Ahya in check whenever they met overexcited fans, and she usually reserved the petting of her tail to rabbits since she felt far more comfortable around them. After the meet and greets were over, she'd go back home to her own rabbit, Jake, whom she had married and enjoyed some family time with the kids - who probably cared little that their mom was a rockstar. She was just mommy to them.
I’m not an artist, I commission artists to draw my characters for me. I instead write for them. I have three books out right now and commercially published for you to purchase and read if you’re interested. The question about living tails has my own answer to that embedded in the books. :)
