A wonderful childrens' book. Cute as can be, impulsive and messy, and everything works out in the end. It's a bit of a don't note in how it misrepresents death, but it's not meant to be taken as seriously as an actual children's book, otherwise I'd recommend it as an actual children's book. :) Some of the ghosts and statues were cute, too. But Emily's nighttime play-time is my favorite part. Good job putting this together, AR.

Thanks very much! And yes, I would not recommend giving this to a kid or else their head would be full of all sorts of bad ideas. Don't fall asleep in a hole, kids! You might get run over by a tractor!

Thanks! It was a lot of fun making this. Right now I'm making more Bing Garbage Pail Kritters. Whole different set of challenges there, but no less fun!

I like to think of myself as being on the cutting edge. At least, I'm not just cultivating prompts and having the AI do all the work. I'm applying a ton of editing to get things juuust right. Though, this is merely where I started that. Take a look at my Bing-made Garbage Pail Kritters to see me starting to make use of multiple AIs and editing tools to get desired results. https://inkbunny.net/s/3022926

It's gotten better about that since. But yeah, I've had to fix broken mouths and pink teeth more than a handful of times on Bing Kritters. I think another aspect is, it fucks up all manner of things, but we're instinctively sensitive to proper-looking hands, eyes, mouths, and such, likely because we developed instincts for sensing whether a fellow caveman was diseased. There was likely a lot of survival value, in the days before medicine existed, in noticing anything not quite right and staying the hell away.

Quite likely, it could be something along the lines of the uncanny valley where something just off of what you expect to see hits a lot harder than something where there's no real baseline.
Tail a little wonky? Not really a problem because it's a humanoid animal and it's not like you're used to seeing those.
Lips and mouth shape off? That's a important part of a person's face and an indicator of emotion a lot of the time so any quirks are going to be immediately noticed.

<lots of nodding> I'll let some tails and toes go unfixed on occasion. Sometimes, since it doesn't know what tails ARE, they're just unconnected worms hovering around the butt area.

'Tail attaches to butt' seems like something even an AI would get right but I suppose it is still early for the various pre-incarnations of the inevitable robotic overlords and there's still some bugs to work out and 'knowledge' to pick up on.
