Ten years ago a young kobold by the name of Oriel was taken from his home as a captive by a well-to-do green half-dragon. Used by the other without restraint, Oriel managed to get away from the half-dragon through chance and became a thief when his fortunes were at their lowest. Now he has grown as a talented rogue, one in which has managed to get his hands on a very peculiar black knife for the leader of his guild. However, upon doing so Oriel will be forced to come face-to-face with the nightmare of his past, the twisted ambitions of those within the present, and the possibility of losing his soul in the future.
