This transformation is based off not only King Maximillian's crystallization from the Archie Sonic Comics, but also off Crystal Robotnik from the Fleetway Sonic Comics, aka Sonic the Comic.
Sally Acorn has crystallized. Unlike like her father though, she has regained mobility. However, the transformation has corrupted her mind.
