Yeah, I agree that the expression and gestures were perfect (given it's something they've mentioned multiple times in both comments and these Q&A strips, and could be inferred to some degree simply by the relationship between the characters).

I kinda feel if Toby really loved Nigel, He would have put in more of an effort to help him or talk to him. Or ask the other Guardians to ask Nigel to talk to him.
Heck seeing as Mira seems to frequent Nigel and Toby every so often you'd think Nigel might have come up with them. I had hopped he'd stand up for Nigel a little at least.

I am also sad their parents are dead not that they did not deserve it. But I am sad Nigel might never get closure with them.
And they will never live to regret what they did to Nigel. Which when he becomes a hero would have made it a far crueler fate for them. They deserve to never be forgiven.
