The goal is to have a whole shitload of different weapons to use in my game, which players can freely swap in and out of their inventory. There are four weapon slots, one being a melee weapon unique to each character, one sidearm, one primary weapon (rifle, shotgun, etc) and one 'special' weapon in the fourth slot, like a grenade launcher or a flamethrower.
Weapons can be used by any character, save for the unique melee weapon everyone starts with.
