Well, looks like I managed an ACO today after all. :3
The subject is Pablo Picasso's 'Olive the Other Reindeer'! :D
HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "Olive wasn't a character of Picasso. Do you even Google?"
Lemme see,
"Olive, the Other Reindeer is a CGI animated Christmas television special written by Steve Young, and directed by Oscar Moore. The feature was produced by Matt Groening's The Curiosity Company and animated by DNA Productions"
...Oh. Honest mistake (the Simpsons guy was involved in this? Intriguing!) :p
HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "...I dunno which is worse: your art or your jokes"
Ah, speaking of art, this card is unique for One-Cent ACO.
This card was made from cardstock ...specifically, the cardstock was cut from an empty box of seltzer I had sitting (grapefruit flavor, for those wondering----it's Tasli's favorite! ...I think).
Anyway, I lightly delineated the subject, then filled everything with soft, wax crayon. I'll have to keep this one in plastic, but I like it. ^^
Returning to the pencil, I'm unsure what 'E.W. Slaybaugh' is referring to, but it's probably just someone's name. I found this pencil in a bin at the scrap, along with others like it: https://sta.sh/01jl5iecq0vt
Some obvious inclusions are missing (red, yellow, etc---they're coloring pencils, not graphite), so there's more of these out there in the world. Maybe I'll find them; maybe I won't (I don't need olive them ...XDXD). :3
