I just gotta say..this page really blew me away..there's such great chemistry with the charicter writing and the poses and expression are dynamic and really fun chucky in particular is so cute in a few of these panels that I just wanna kiss em XD I also think you've done a great job not only of capturing such a fun personality for kev but his design as well.
I love how you shadowed our little witch's face in the one panel even though we know who she is the charicters don't its a marvelous touch.

Thanks. I wanted a real buddy dynamic between them. It's all part of introducing Chucky's normal life before Gwendolyn. And that shading I've seen used in anime and I always thought it was cool.

Also I agree the shading on Gabby's face is awesome! I like that you don't go overboard with shading or color on your characters / scenes but use it for just the right moment. Really makes your work stand out!
And I literally can't wait to see what happens when Gwyn starts getting "twinges" from Chucky since I'm pretty sure that ring would send her every emotion he feels if it's strong enough. :D

Thanks, I'm glad you like the black and white. Honestly, the reason I'm doing it this way now is because I don't want to spend the time coloring anymore. I'd love to do this in full color like the aviation comic, but I'd be lucky to get one page done in a month.

And I totally understand about your not wanting to color your stories. Coloring is an art and a challenge all by itself and takes up a LOT of time. Besides I'm a lover of excellent B&W comics like yours so just keep do'n what you're do'n. :D

I hadn't really thought about her being psychically connected to her wand. But I'm going to say no. She needs to either touch it or enact magic on it. Like the ring Chucky is wearing, he needs to wear it for it to work.
