Anyway, this drawing is of Christopher the Christmas Tree, from 'Christopher the Christmas Tree' (CtCT) ^^
CtCT was a somewhat-Christian-themed holiday special produced and directed by Chris Delaney (who also directed 'The Boy Who Dreamed Christmas' and 'Nilus the Sandman')
I've seen this special several times. It's ...not bad, insofar as Christmas specials go---it's nothing special, but I kinda like it. :3
The gist is Christoper wants to be someone's Christmas tree, but he's never chosen. Instead, Christopher continued to grow until he grew too large to fit into anyone's living room for Christmas. So, Christopher became friends with (as well a home for) random forest animals (though Christopher still pined for the chance to be a Christmas tree ...pun!). ^^
The most significant of Christopher's animal friends was a flightless, misfit owlet named Hootey.
The best thing about Hootey is he created an unintended, time-related plot hole ...that the writers caught sometime during production. The plot hole was patched (albeit very awkwardly) near the end of the special. ^^

The featured pencil is named 'Snow Pine'. The 'Snow Pine' is of Chinese origin, though I cannot verify its maker. In fact, I know nothing about this pencil! D:
"Christopher the Christmas Tree" sounds INFINANTLY more likeable than "https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1651146/"!! A truly horrible Christmas special that has no redeeming qualities what so ever save to show you how NOT to do a Christmas special or ANY animated special for that matter. :( (Seriously! Saying it sucks would be insulting to things that suck!)!
Do you know offhand weather Chinese made pencils are better or worse than those made in other countries? I would be interested in finding out just 'cause.

Does that make him suicidal? I mean, Christmas trees don't get led back to the forest on the 26th. This reminds me much of the turkeys eager to celebrate thanksgiving.
One must also wonder if there's a tree legend about the pine who supplied the wood for the cross. This special gives me SO many questions.
