I drew this 11/23/2022, and didn't like the drawing. I still don't---it's a bit 'off', but so is all my art.
Point is, I didn't rip this card up after drawing (as I have with so many), and now that some time has elapsed (ie, I've become desperate for an upload), I present this ACO to the world ...or, at least, to the 0.00000003% of the world that this ACO will reach. ^^
Anyway, the subject is Yakari, from the animated 'Yakari' series.
Yakari is a *Sioux-Indian boy who can talk to animals. ^^
*Sioux is pronounced like 'Sue'
A screenshot was used as a reference in drawing this card (because I was lazy).
I've seen a grand total of one episode of the series (as of writing). Said episode (The Red Arrow) may be seen here (link tested 11/25/2022): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8dZ8hV1FrY
Pencil...
The featured pencil is the 'Sioux' from Perkins Bros Company (PBC) of Sioux-City Iowa.
"Perkins Bros. Co. was founded in 1869 by George Perkins and his brother, Henry A. Perkins, as an office supply store and print shop. It was housed in the same building as The Sioux City Journal at 419 Douglas St. The Perkins family owned The Journal for more than a century. Eventually the company was renamed Perkins Stationery Co. In 1974, the store was relocated to 805 Pierce St. In 1999, Perkins Office Solutions opened an expanded store on Wesley Way"
Anyway, in the same way Rexal pencils were made by another company, PBC pencils were likely made for (rather than by) PBC, for sale wherever PBC sold its office supplies.
Hypothetical Watcher: Okay, that’s it! It’s time to cancel you once and for all! Me: It’s not that serious. It’s just a cartoon character. Hypothetical Watcher: And a racist one at that! Me: Bruh
Of course, Hypothetical Watcher’s theoretical comments are not my views.

When I made my Warrior Wuff and Teepee cartoons, I thought someone would complain. At the very least, I thought FurAffinity would take issue with it (they support/supported BLM and God knows what else).
That said, no one complained that a white guy (me!) drew his white-furred characters with feathers, or drew a war wuff with a tomahawk. Maybe I listen to too many political podcasts (bad habit, I know!), but it seems the world has become extremely thin-skinned and belligerent these last several years ...so I was ready to fight for my art. ^^
Luckily it didn't come to that. :3

It helps that my FA receives very little traffic. I'm better known here than there (my guess is because FA is much more about commercial art than 'just' art).

The relatively modern looking animation combined with the type of content caught me off guard. Turns out there's a much older version of this cartoon from 1983: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykBLivQLEEo

Proof that ass holes exist in ever race...which is a sad revelation in and of itself once you discover it.
That said your illustration of the main character is almost spot on. Nicely done. :D
I think I've seen Sioux pencils somewhere at sometime but it was a while ago sadly. Makes you wonder if they ever did any other indigenous tribe pencils back in the day.
