Personality
Barricade has a soft spot for villains, being a sadistic person himself. He envisions people who do bad things as the true underdogs of society, and admires those who want to reshape the world at the expense of others' happiness. Every time a villain is defeated, he sympathizes with their plights, and will do what he can to protect them if he's in the area. He has been arrested several times for obstruction of justice.

Background/History
Barricade was originally named Barry. After years of giving assistance to Eggman and other villains, becoming an outcast to his hometown, he was eventually hired by the doctor. Being a fanboy but not a fighter, Barry was enlisted as his assistant and secretary, handling paperwork and such. Barry's insistence on helping Eggman relax after fights eventually earned him a specialist position in R&R, finding hotels for them to stay at privately.
Barry often helps by projecting force fields for defense, but with Eggman's help, he created an AI that would bend his force fields into any shape, allowing him to produce extra limbs and other things to make jobs easier. Thus he got his new name, Barricade. Barricade has never gotten into any fights, working behind the scenes, yet often times his force fields have kept the bases safer for longer.

Barry has family in his hometown, yet they are not on speaking terms.

Barry travels the world with Eggman, often hidden away in one of his many bases, looking things up for his boss.
