...Normally I'd tell you to stick it in your ear ...and I will tell you that, BUT with the addition that I'm not in complete disagreement: I need to return to ACO (it's my mainstay), but I've just been in a mood for quickies here late. To be honest, I'm lucky to be drawing at all, so if my mind is enabling me to, I'm not going to say no (even if I can draw only comics for now).
Anyway...
It's been a while since we last visited the trailer wolves. It seems Mae is putting on a puppet play for the twins (the puppets kinda look like Chippy and Foxy ...hm). Let's see what happens!

WOLFMOM (to Mae): "So that's where my good wooden spoon ended up. And Mae, why do the boys not have any clothes on?"
MAE (stepping from behind the theater]: "Because this is Birthday Suit Theater!"
WOLFMOM: "I can see that, dear, but why is it that?"
MAE (matter-of-factly): "Because that's the dress code if you want to see the puppet play!"
WOLFMOM (slightly annoyed): "But why?"
MAE (flustered): "Well, how should I know!?"
WOLFMOM (rhetorically, to reader): "'Cubs'---am I right?"
[the twins giggle]
Don't worry, the wolf mom knows the show must go on (and she doesn't need her spoon right away), so all's well for those concerned. :3

My art isn't for kids, per se (real kids shouldn't be browsing furry art sites to start with), though there are younger persons who watch for my cartoons on DeviantArt (this happens when one draws TV characters), so I like to keep most of my quickies accessible to them (as well safe). Moreover, I need my cub-themed art to be in agreement with FurAffinity's AUP (as I suppose this cartoon would be). InkBunny-exclusive stuff isn't as fun for me: it's not as rewarding (fewer people see it, and it's usually the first sort I delete whenever I'm unhappy) and (if I'm to be honest) the inclusion of genitals doesn't contribute much to MY works (as characters tend to ignore/not interact with them, anyway---not always, but most of the time).
I also acknowledge I've been on a wolf streak---I've been enjoying doodling them; they're a welcome departure from Gene/Tasli, I guess. That said, I want to draw a wolf OC for ACO, so I'll probably be doing that next, unless I wake up with a different idea in mind (nothing kills a project or suggestion as effectually as announcing it to my watchers).
Pencil...
The featured pencil is like the wolf twins: all natural! ...yeah, I was gonna feature a 'Melissa & Doug' pencil (because puppet theater), but I figured I could do better than (another) ad pencil (so I did). Anyway, this pencil was made by Albert Unger Pencil Co. I dunno much about the company, and I've only a few pencils by them.

Last (and unrelated to the above), I didn't draw this cartoon with my usual Zephyr. Instead, I used a nameless, 'brand-X' pencil from China (555 model) ...I dunno why I used it, I just wanted to. :3
I do! :3 And yeah honestly. My art has never been intended for kids. Or really for any specific audience. I just draw & post what I want no matter who the audience is. But considering what I draw, it is more likely (than not) aimed for adults lol

Because I'm usually not productive insofar as comics go ...my quickie art is also slightly more lack-a-daisy (I don't often re-draw poses, because a mistake could mean re-drawing everything else), so the ACO stuff presents better because more effort goes into them (albeit, I've not been doing practice sketches lately---I 'just draw' the cards, as with Sally Squirrel. That was my first go---I could've done better).
ACO tends to get more views, faves, etc., as well. Though I don't live for numbers, the results say what my watchers are most interested in (esp. on DeviantArt, which is my main happy hunting ground).

I THINK that that website is a game of some kind. Not sure but if you mouse over the menu it drops down selections and one of them is very much a game. Might be fun to try sometime but I'm not sure when I'll get a chance. Interesting that they're a PENCIL company as well..I THINK? Maybe the pencil was advertising the game? *shrug* Oh well...it's a nice looking pencil regardless and as you know I love au natural art implements (no varnish or paint on the pencil / brush handle). :D

Albert Unger is an exceptionally random/obscure reference for a game site to use; Unger was a micro-factory from the mid century, whose products were few and had limited distribution.
