The drawing shows Pinky in a witch costume. This disguise befits the character, methinks, given Pinky's personality (neither good nor bad---a female Tasli in some ways).
So... it's not the norm that I ask someone to make a gift art for me (when was the last time? late 2000s? HamStar-era? I cannot say).
Point is, I'm unable to draw now, and will likely to remain unable for the foreseeable future.
It's not hyperbolic to say I'm developing a phobia, a fear of drawing and of seeing my results; I've come to dread even the idea of trying.
The funny/annoying thing about this is I have never (repeat) I have capital-N capital-E capital-V capital-E capital-R: NEVER---never have I ever drawn ANY characters correctly, and I NEVER will; it is literally NOT possible for me to ...so I don't know why I hold myself/my art to any standards whatsoever.
I've reached a point that I won't even allow myself to draw out of spite (which is scary considering how mean and stubborn I can often be).
I've been receiving faves, comments, mentions, etc., and willfully not responding to them---I delete the notifications as they come. I've replied only to a single DM strand I received on FA (I don't really know why I did).
It's not fair of me, I guess, to ride off into the sunset without making any announcements: I've been a common sight for too long and I don't want to ignore or worry anyone. ...yet I could't even draw a head-and-shoulder shot of Gene under which to compose any announcement! D:
Luckily, Miss Ice Cream came along and accepted my art request of Pinky in costume (I'll neither ask her nor anyone else to draw for me again---this was done out of compunction and necessity). :3
So, what's my announcement?
Concisely that I'm going silent a while; I don't know for how long.
