Due to a mysterious link between Spike and Twilight, the Main 6 can access certain powers of the Elements of Harmony as long as they are with Spike and only for a limited time.

Rainbow Dash had always been a fast flyer. While her amplified state does give her some of Spike's magic to increase her speed, what it gives her is the sight of a dragon. This upgrade in visual prowess allows Rainbow Dash to perceive her surroundings faster than a normal pegasus. She can perform tricks and do feats that even she would consider to be too dangerous. Even the pitch-black darkness can't stop her from being able to see now. However, this new eyesight requires a filter that her element gifted her. While she doesn't like the mask, she knows she needs it, as when she didn't have it on, she became nauseous after five minutes. This unrestricted eyesight lets her see the minute details of the ponies around her. A twitch here, a glance of the eye there, is all she would need to know that something is up.

Spike gains the ability to be in multiple places at once. It is difficult to get a hold of as not only is his consciousness split among each copy of him he makes, but his magic and strength are also divided. However, should the situation call for it. Being in multiple places makes up for the lack of power. After all, he would always be by his friends' sides.
