Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste
2014 will forever stand as my all-time favorite Halloween Countdown. Something about that year was just bottled lightning. The mood that October was perfect, it was the first time in a long while I had felt that childhood glee of Halloweens long passed. I had just started High School Death party earlier that year and the countdown was completely stress free because it was all me. There were no mandates, no templates to follow, it was purely my vision on my favorite time of the year and it will always be my favorite countdown for it.
Unfortunately, there's two sides to every coin and when you reach the peak of the mountain, there's nowhere to go but down. I'll admit now that I briefly considered ending my Halloween Countdowns there, as I knew I could never do something that hit that nostalgic feeling so perfectly ever again, try as I might! (and believe me, I have tried) But, let it be known that I am not a quitter, or at least I won't quit unless I have a better reason than that! Just because I did something I feel I can't personally top doesn't mean I should stop or deprive others of content. In the end, I'm glad I stuck with my guns, because I'd sooner, rather than later I'd hate myself for doing so... and let's face it, I'd eventually come back to it anyway!
All that said, for years now I've had a massive desire to bring back all the designs I made in 2014. For what, I do not know entirely, but it's something I've been toying with for sometime and having to revisit them for this countdown was sort of the spring board I needed to maybe get this off the ground. I make not huge promises, but don't be surprised if you see more stuff like this pop up, even if it's just retooling their designs. I guess you can say this was a sort of unintentional snippet of what's to come and hopefully it's something you'll enjoy. In any case, stay spooky~
