We cannot lost the job because AI cannot draw porn (at least for some more years)

You are probably safe, as I see the AI being sent to HR for the picture content.

Even if an AI could perfectly replicate your style, I'd much rather see you draw things that make you happy and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that feels that way.

A shame, but hopefully it's a passing fad... hopefully

I can say, for absolute certain, after my personal experience (as well as secondhand experience) with A.I.-generated "artwork", there is no current or near-future fear of artificially-created artwork becoming widely accepted as a viable form of artwork in any facet of art. In its present state, it is nothing more than a glorified meme and artists should probably stop worrying that they will be replaced by artificial intelligence. There are other things A.I. does to and with artwork that people should be worried about, but replacing REAL art and REAL artists are not a part of them.

Don't worry, man. The quality of AI image generation is still extremely poor. Many of them may look decent or even good at first glance, but looking at those images for more than just a second or two will reveal major issues in over 99% of the cases.
AI generated porn will not satisfy the needs of anyone, but people with the lowest standards.

I once asked Dall-e AI, What is your favourite animal? in the prompt and it made a bunch of  spider-birbs hybrids it was so gross to look at

It just became boring to me when I realized it just Photoshops other people pictures from the internet, and then tessellates them following a fractal like configuration like a kind of Collage or a random maze generator does.

The point is that you can teach it.
It will be hardly anything more than the net sum of what you feed to it, but thats plenty enough to put more than just one or two people out of a job for designing covers and illustrations.

Yeah that also sound just as scary. The thought that there has to be at least someone out there who would rather crank up an AI that rudely misinterpret their input for weeks to get lucky with a single picture rather than pay an artist to draw what they actually have in their minds.

We wouldnt have robots replacing every form of human work if that was the case. Ofc some areas will remain untouchable for robots at least for the near future. Such as doing comics or any kind of work that requires a coherent replication of characters panel after panel, page after page.
Aside from that though? Artists will slowly be pushed towards the fringes to become a niche group that only ppl with extreme amounts of money hire for as a novelty. Like portray painters.

I mean... i would say that there is a huge market for drawing porn, but lets face it: If any open source ai escapes the corporate gravitational field, then all ppl need to do is to feed it 3-5 image boards and it will puke porn like no tomorrow.
But we will see how it goes.

its just a robot that slaps images together like putting stickers on top of each other.
it can't make anything new. its always using the full image of something else before it slaps more "shit" on it.

Eventually someone will sell AI art that is a straight copy a very popular persons art and they'll go into hiding and tracing better.

In the AI version, the robot cat looks like a clip & paste-on in the drawing.
