These are some of the numerous funny plaques I've seen when I was in my early teenage years during the late 1960s.

There are others I also remember from that day and time. At some later time I might post drawings of those as well.

I still see similar funny plaques at old school diners and whatnot!! Love this.

Old diners are one of the places I've seen them also.

Other places I've seen them were in automotive repair garages, farm feed stores, hardware stores, and one of those old pharmacies that had a lunch and soda counter.

I remember one in a shop that sells and repairs lawn mowers, chain saws, etc.

The plaque read:
" Rates are as follows:
To fix it, $25 per hour.
To tell you how to fix it yourself, $100 per hour.
Dumb looks are still free.
