An interesting gift art commissioned by a friend for my birthday this year. We've done a few NSFW pieces together between his bird character and Murana and he wanted to pay me back with something not just SFW, but a bit more meaningful in terms of his character's lore and history. I can't say I know everything about his character and the extensive lore surrounding this picture, but I will copy below what he wrote for his post for the piece and I must thank him again for such a wonderful gift.

Offering the abilities of the Corvidae people's to another individual requires a strong bond that consists of trust, friendship, and loyalty. Roland knew that Murana has these qualities and so met the requirements to undertake the ritual of inheriting Roland's power. The process only amplified their bond, as he had complete confidence that she would wield them for noble causes.
