A short note before we get started: there is a moderately high chance I'll find some idiotic mistake in this card to feel self-conscious about (despite all the pre-existing horrors in my gallery), but I promise I won't delete it ...unless I do delete it, but I promise (sincerely) I'll have a great excuse handy in that event.
...anyway. ^^
This is the white rabbit from Hanna-Barbera's 1966 animated TV special 'The New Alice in Wonderland', or (with the alternate tile of), 'What's a Nice Girl Like You Doing in a Place Like This?'
There isn't much more animation available to watch free, albeit the LP of the complete story may be listened to here (link tested 06/13/2022): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY1y36Eks6Q
So, why am I referring to the white rabbit as the Rexall Rabbit?
The Rexall Drug Company was a big sponsor of the TV special, and so some (mostly-) animated commercials were made featuring characters from the TV special (esp. of the white rabbit). Besides, I may want to draw either the Disney White Rabbit or the Star Trek version someday, I don't want cards of different characters sharing names (esp. when the names begin with 'The'). :p
And, yes, (at least) two of the aforementioned commercials were on YT as of writing. These are they (links tested 06/13/2022):
So, basically, Rexall was having a sale in which if you buy an item, you get an identical one for a penny. Why not make it a BOGO sale (buy one, get one); even in the 60s, a penny didn't amount to much (but, at least, I think they were copper then ...I think)? :P
Anyway, pencil...
The featured pencil is a 'Cascade' model from a Rexall store in Los Angeles.
I'm almost certain this pencil was exclusive to Rexall, albeit, Rexall didn't have a trademark on the 'Cascade' pencil name (an earlier 'Cascade' was made by American Pencil Co., which by the time this pencil was made, APC had changed its name to Venus).
I have only one or two other Rexall pencils. The one I was able to find (in all this mess) was a Rexall 'De Luxe' ...which would have been a nicer pencil to feature (in that it's more on the nose), though my particular 'De Luxe' is a mis-stamp, and so wouldn't represent the model fairly. :p
Drawing was made via a 'Zephyr' pencil from Wallace Pencil Co., and delineated via an English-made 'Cardinal' pencil from Berol.
I know you were playing, but now you have me looking at the ears. :p
I know if I allowed everyone to, at least 82 issues would be found with this scribble (I'm blind to most of them---usually I pick one or two things to dwell on). With this drawing, I'd say I drew the subject in an odd pose. It's not 'wrong' per se, but a pose like this is better used in a comic. I say this because I kinda scrunched him up, obscuring the details (esp. his outfit).
My scribble IS roughly two HH, as it's supposed to be (not counting the ears), albeit from this angle, and with one leg raised up, he loses some length (when standing, the subject's legs are roughly 1/2 HH), so there's a lot of white space here (more than desired, but not more than there should be, given the pose) ...so I compensated (and probably ruined it).
That said, I didn't lift this pose from the animation, and (of course) persons who like paws will eat this up (on DA, I got five new watchers after uploading this ...yay for new eyes to disappoint with my next upload). :P
Tag added (thx!). :3 I know you were playing, but now you have me looking at the ears. :p I know i
Man, five in one go. Should stitch that onto a sash and wear it around the countryside. Nothing I've done's got remotely that much attention. (Still it IS a good pouncey pose.)
82 issues? I can imagine you doing something like that scene in Liar Liar. 'Sir, do you know what's wrong with this picture?' *Deep breath* 'The lines are too light, the curves are wrong, the ears are pointed at the wrong angle, the pawpads are not canon, the teeth are too blocky, the pupils too gray and the image done too speedily!' 'Is... is that all?' "No... I drew it on the back of a bus ticket.'

Know what I find fun about this character? It's that his head fits inside a perfect circle---I didn't notice that at first when I was practicing (took a couple tries to figure it out).
It's also fun how his nose/mouth are drawn. You begin at the top of the nose, then curve down and back up. At that point, only two simple curves remain to complete it. This rabbit was made for speed drawing. :3

That's possibly not wrong; a LOT of characters start or end up designed to be drawn quickly and easily, that's the grind of animation. Many a project has died on intricate linework taking too long. (Just look at the evolution of characters like Garfield, who become more streamlined over time.) This fellow could have gone straight from rough sketch to finished design keeping all that speedy sleekness.

A WHITE RABBIT named REX from an ALICE in WONDERLAND SPECIAL sponsored by a DRUG COMPANY!!!
:D :D :D The Mind Boggles!! EsPECially when you mentioned they *Rexall* had commercials using him!!
And a PENCIL from said drug company!! I'd love to see the misstamp even if it isn't in the best shape. And speaking of which, do misstamped pencils command any increase in value / desirability like misstamped coins or stamps? If so do you have any examples of THOSE *pencils not coins or stamps* you'd be willing to share! :D

The Oriental pencil ...I dunno if it was glued together by the original owner or not, but the core was a factory error---you'd REALLY have to see it to appreciate how wonky it is (I may show it in a video, as I'd need to be able to show both ends together).
As regards value ...error pencils are kinda niche. Of all these, only the American was bought (by me) because of its printing; the others were discovered incidentally among lots.
Oh so drug company! D: Here's the bag with the De Luxe: https://sta.sh/0290qsggiu77 And here are s
