A quick draw of Little Sister from Disney's 'Robin Hood'. I drew this freeform, from a screenshot---just wanted something I could scratch together quickly as I've not much time for drawing today AND I wanted to show this pencil before it rolls away. :3

Pencil...

The featured pencil is a German-made 'Robin Hood' pencil from Lyra.

The pencil barrel shows images of Robin Hood, Little John, Sir Hiss, Prince John and the Sheriff.
I don't know if there were Lyra pencils with the other characters or not (the rabbits and so forth are conspicuously missing from this one), neither do I know if this pencil is from the 1970s or not (I'm not an expert here).

Either way, this particular pencil was found sharpened already, but it appears it was sharpened by the factory. As such, I considered it 'effectively' unused, so I didn't use it to draw this card ...HOWEVER, I did use it to write the text on the card and sign it. :3

She was such a cute character even for a minor part.

Now THAT is an interesting pencil. Actually putting the movie characters on the pencil even though they KINDA look like drawing of the characters. Also I wonder what version of Robin they used as the art changed so much during production. And the important question is it marked Disney copyright or just Robin Hood.

Well, I figure everyone draws Robin and the rabbits, so... I went with the lesser of the church mice. :3

The pencil reads, "Made in Germany; © Walt Disney Productions"

They were very stingy on the names for characters back then, before they realized they had a (furry) cult classic on their hands and made sure, in other fox movies, to name everyone, even if obliquely.

Also, the whole 'church mouse' stealth pun was very nice.

Writers of fan fiction, rejoice! Everyone will have names in the remake (presumably). lol

Presumably a 'live action remake' is in the works. Zootopia has over 90 named characters, and that still wasn't enough for the fanbase.
