They warned her not to go. He warned her not to go. She was too weak. She just went through a physically traumatic ordeal and lost a lot of blood, but her rage could not be sated. They destroyed a part of her family and she was going to make them pay. Liam understood well this wrath and his heart ached for the damage she unleashed. He knew stopping her would bring more death upon those whom did not deserve it, so he stood idly by and watched her wreck havoc on the imperial behemoth and all those who piloted it. He chose not to interfere when she caused blood to pour from her orifices and her skin to break out into lesions which seeped crimson which stained her fur and clothes. Her fury spent and the battle won at great cost, she collapsed. The behemoth was no more, but their prophesied savior had fallen. She spent every ounce she had and paid dearly. It was time to bring her home, off the battlefield and into someplace safe. Now, Liam chose to walk out onto that wasteland and gently pick his love up, carrying her tenderly back to her family - to those who loved her. She felt so lifeless, so cold. Ahya did not even react and hung limply at his side as he walked on. He wished he could take this pain away from her, but knew it was something she had to experience for herself. Nobody could sugarcoat fate, no matter how much Taylor hated it. This was her victory and her loss. All Liam could do was be there for her.
