This is Digeri Dingo from the WB's 'Taz-Mania' series.
I've drawn the 'cub' form of Digeri before (as well reviewed an episode), but this is the first time I've drawn the character proper. The pose, so far as I know, is original to the character, as I used a photo of a person as a reference (gotta make up for these click-and-drag-to-animate characters I've been drawing lately).
At the very least, this ACO is showing Digeri in a rare fan-pose that doesn't add 500lbs or focus unduly on his feet (that's something, right?). ^^
The featured pencil is a Blacksun/Black Sun from Bohemia Works.
Bohemia Works is actually L&C Hardtmuth. According to Bob Truby,
"Bohemia Works is and was made by L&C Hardtmuth of the Czech Republic, formerly Czechoslovakia. I'm not sure when the brand was first established but it must have been after the mid 1950s to 1960s. Bohemia Works was the brand used by Hardtmuth to export products into countries that already had the Hardtmuth or Koh-I-Noor names taken by domestic companies."
I love your simple line work. It's so clean and to the point. You could so easily be an animator or story border.
And I love those dark dark pencils. They give such a nice line that you almost don't have to ink over it to get a nice reproduction. The fact it's from The Czech Republic is a double plus good. :)
