Jonah tells Jonathan about Pi by reciting a Piem (Pi Poem) I composed for this piece. It reads:
"Pie, I like, a treat, delicious! Pi digits begin but never conclude ... calculate, confirm, endlessly, why? To see patterns love!"
For a piem the number of letters in each word must correspond to the digits of pi in sequence. Thus we have:
Pie (3) I (1) like (4) a (1) treat (5) delicious (9) pi (2) digits (6) begin (5) but (3) never (5) conclude (8) calculate (9) confirm (7) endlessly (9) why (3) to (2) see (3) patterns (8) love (4)
Jonathan responds:
"Jonah, how could anyone know they never conclude?! It's not like they could get to the end to prove it!"
Made for Pi Day. More than 1000 digits of pi can be easily read in this image.
