Legend of Ahya: As above, so Below also tells the story of Murana, Taylor's mom. Up to this point in the series, we've only heard her name and how much Taylor wishes to be back with her, regretting the decision to run away. In book 2, we see the story behind that decision, the events leading up to it and ultimately the consequences after. Giving the cover artist freedom, she chose to focus on Murana in her later years, staring off into space, lost in memories that are far more real than the pale imitations sitting atop her dresser and adorning her walls. A bittersweet back cover to a most extraordinary, larger-than-life character. Fun sidequest: Can you find the hidden Ruolina signature in the image?
