The Wandering Knight. That’s all he’s known by throughout England. Nobody knows his true identity nor has ever seen his face, all they knew was that he was a young man. The knight made a name for himself in the mid 1390’s. He wore a set of dark-steel light armor and carried a two-handed great sword. He also wore a tattered white cloak. The Knight made his gold traveling as a Mercenary. He took any job that paid handsomely.

Other than the Wandering Knight, he was called other names. The Knight of the North, the Mysterious Wanderer, The Great Blade, event the Strange Traveler. When someone asked the Knight where he hailed from, he gave the same response. “I come from the North.”

There were many who though because of his body, the Knight wasn’t strong enough to handle his large sword. But the Knight proved to be just as strong. Rumors about the Knight spread though England like a wild Stampede.

Some say the Knight decapitated three bandits with just a single swing of his sword. Some say he drove his sword through the hearts of five men with just one strike. And many in England say the knight killed fifty men with just his bare hands.

Besides being a Knight for hire, he proved to be a Holy Knight. When the Knight traveled passed a Church, he would enter and pray at the Altar for an hour, then leave. The Knight traveled England from March to December. At the start of every new year, the Knight would rest and Recover in Northern England. During the Winter, the Wandering Knight was spotted from Northumberland to Lincolnshire.

There were knights throughout England to went in search of the Wandering Knight to challenge him in single combat to test their strength. The Wandering Knight Bested every one of them. There were those who tried to find out who he was and where he came from, but found nothing. The Knight never truly spoke much, but did say words that made him intriguing.

“I am a Knight of God.”
“I come from the North.”
“My Heart is my Sword.”
“Gold is the Wealth of Men.”
“If I can’t protect those in need, then I can’t call myself a Knight.”
