A whole bunch of character studies and designs for the Rewired AU that I posted recently, nothing is canon yet, but I do like quite a lot of the stuff we came up with on here. Its kind of fun being able to explore new takes on fav characters like Cream and Wave.
OH, honestly didn't expect it going into others getting rewired. Kinda gives me the feel of a Tails' being a sort of older classic style baddie who doesn't wholly realize he's doing wrong or the like, with a constant mind of "I didn't mean it, I can fix this, I CAN FIX THIS!"

i'm a little out of the loop here. as far as i can tell its a darker version of the franchise where some of the characters died and tails brought them back vera robotic copys. either that he created his own version of eggmans robotiser. actually are they just copys or do they hold the actual souls of the characters their based on? if not do they have memory of the character in question? if not to both are they like the doll from blood born? you know they look like the character but they have a different personality or soul if you will.

I have 1 chapter up set in the AU so far. They are cyborgs, the originals fused with machines. In this canon the robotiser does not exist. it IS a darker setting but not overly dramatic, none of these designs are final yet, just thought experiments.

the "tails tech brand" extreme gear wave is using makes me incredibly curious,, tails has always been extremely capable and much smarter than geggman or sonic, is his newfound motivation from amy starting to love him convince him to be more proactive of his own agendas? to the point he takes eggman's place as a tech giant? mostly likely i'm overthinking this the designs themselves are extremely wonderful btw! i have to wonder if tails *intentionally* start making the girl's rewired bodies more flawed to fuel his ego
