This is Bentley from Kevin Gillis's 'The Raccoons' animated series (drawn for hearts and comments).
I've already covered 'The Raccoons' (this is my fourth 'Raccoons' ACO), so I'll skip on the description (I know that every One-Cent ACO, potentially, could be someone's first experience with my work, but ...anyone clicking this already knows these characters). :P
Anyway,
Canonically, Bentley is Ralph's nephew, however when the character was introduced, it was implied Bentley was Melissa's cousin. ^^
Either way, I have him here as an unfinished ACO subject---'unfinished' because I didn't delineate his card.
I drew this card via my Wallace Zephyr, and signed it with the featured pencil ...speaking of,
Pencil...
The featured pencil is from CounterCulture: a coffee roaster that's local to my area. Specifically, this pencil was from CounterCulture's 'Line Drawing' campaign from 2015.
Before I get into that, I will report how I discovered the pencil.
I found it in a bin of pencil stubs at The Scrap Exchange: a donation store where one can fill a bucket of bits and pieces of things to make crafts.
My primary interest is always the pencil tub. I usually take very little from it (mostly old Prismacolor stubs I can use for coloring comics), but sometimes I find treasure.
In this case, I found the featured pencil. It's rather plain, but as a coffee drinker, I recognized 'CounterCulture' and thought it curious they had a pencil made. I put it in my bucket! D:
Once home, I Googled the pencil and found nothing. Likewise, there were none on eBay or Etsy. I put the pencil in the pikachu cup on my desk ...and forgot about it for several weeks.
Emptying the cup to sort its contents reminded me of the pencil. A second online search revealed nothing, so I opted to send CounterCulture a message asking about the pencil.
CounterCulture replied thus,
"Hi Marten! What an amazing find! *Those were part of a special promotion from roughly five years ago when we had a limited coffee called "Line Drawing." Unfortunately, [the pencils are] no longer available"
D:
*I actually found more than one pencil from CounterCulture. All together, I have three: the featured blue one and two reds. The reds have very different designs and will be featured in a forthcoming comic.
Well, CounterCulture's reply piqued my interest, so I have featured the pencil here. ^_^
"Line Drawing is so named because it blends coffees from two countries, Colombia and Kenya, where farmers have traditionally relied on chemical fertilizer inputs for coffee farming. In the case of the two coffees used for this blend, however, the communities are making big strides to produce and use more organic inputs—a great example of movement along the sustainability continuum. If we draw lines in the sand like defining sustainability through organic certification only, we’re creating a false dichotomy that doesn’t support these incremental successes"
That is for sure one of the more interesting stories for a pencil. And as a coffee drinker myself I'd love to try some of that particular blend. Sounds interesting. :D

I think I see where the confusion comes from, I thought this was the theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVB7ysuyE_g - but upon closer inspection it says "THE NEW ADVENTURES"... What are you doing at 5 am at your computer btw?

Wtf? The new adventures is from the 2000's. I distinctly remember the theme I linked to being part of the show I saw during the 90's. Shouldn't you be preparing for work? XP - EDIT: 3 am?? When do you go to bed?

Oh I've watched a lot of the raccoons episodes last year (They're free on youtube) really loved how the cartoon handled all sorts of problems and issues that the characters faced and portraied them fairly realistically. I really loved the episode in which Bentley ran away from home after cheating on a test and the last person who talked some sense into him? Cyril Sneer, the villain of the show. It's stuff like this that just elevates an ordinary cartoon to something special when villains can be kind hearted and where even the heroes can fail (Bert becoming selfish because he wanted to win a contest). It shows that anyone can succeed if they try hard enough and that no-one is ever truly a 'lost cause'. :3

Absolutely, it had some great writing behind it and I especially loved the music. X3
And yush, no matter how much Bert worked himself in trouble he always had a 'home' to go back to, same as with Bentley and the other characters. No matter how frustrated they were, in the end they always wanted the best for eachother. ^^
