The original prompt for 25 was "Favorite Monster Girl," which in all fairness isn't really a bad prompt but one best saved for the finale; not to mention one that I don't think I could ever truly answer. There's just too many good choices out there and whenever I wanna say one, I immediately second guess myself. It's like picking favorite Pokemon! I guess if I was truly pressed, my favorite monster is the Grim Reaper so in someways I adhered to the original prompt but it was unintentional. I've just always wanted to challenge myself to create a sexually appealing skeleton character. From the get go, I knew I wanted to theme her off of Dia de los Muertos, as it's a holiday I have a lot of appreciation for but have sadly done little in the way of representing it. Passed that though, I didn't have many ideas until I recalled this: https://inkbunny.net/s/687507 from that Halloween Countdown so long ago and I really liked the idea of giving skeletons a big Vegs casino theme, so I blended that in there as well, creating a character I like to think as sort of a representation of Lady Luck. It's a bit of a hodgepodge, but I like it. I picture a very cool, confident persona who knows how to use her looks to get what she wants, but is also cut throat and leaves everything up to chance/fate.
