no.10: Golem

With a space now empty after combining Demon and Succubus, I decided to add Golem into the list of prompts because they're some of my favorite creatures and because it would be a legitimate challenge to make one appealing. After all, isn't this all supposed to be a monster girl 'CHALLENGE'? To say the least, it provided the challenge I wanted. I had several different ideas and didn't actually finish this one until I was nearly at the end of the entire countdown. In the end though, I'm pretty happy with the result.

One thing I really wanted to do was to have a set of characters that created a striking dichotomy with the main one being small and cute, while the other is large and seemingly intimidating but isn't actually. Something about that just really fit glamim to me-(yes, that's actually the plural of golem)-and it further made them stand out among the rest. As for the golem girl herself, I wanted to go for that awkwardly adorable appeal. Something that's openly off putting but in an endearing way and with just a tiny Southern Belle flare to her. The larger one, I like to picture it as something she rides around in and uses to help her with gardening and landscaping. It's sentience is questionable, as is the case with most glamim!
