I'm so happy for him, despite the fact I think it should have been investigated by now that the judge was HANDED SOMETHING that he RIPPED UP and now he can't even hold a job because of it, but regardless he seems to really wanna move on. Just one loose end if anything. Can't say her name without physically feeling anger.

That's actually something I'm super curious about because the nanites might be making it impossible for him to build any further body mass at all. Bet it fat or muscle. Since muscles grow in part from being 'damaged' but the nanites are always repairing him to his baseline.

So sure the apparent immortality would be a plus but he may be incapable of getting any stronger or faster than he currently is. Not saying he would need huge muscles but it would certainly help in that line of work. Don't want to end up going against someone three times his size and end up tied into a pretzel even if he would heal from it later. A prone bodyguard is not very useful. ^^;

Interesting note: You don't get more muscle or fat cells. They simply get bigger. (Current research) suggests there is some reorganization, but for the most part, what you have is what you have. It just gets optimized for the tasks it's put to.

Ah. Alright then. Though the nanites may consider any larger portion of material within the body to just be 'free range' for keeping their numbers up, if they do in fact need to rebuild themselves or build entirely new ones. So the effect could still be of him not being able to train and grow stronger. Though if taken to its most absurd level he wouldn't even need to eat or drink if the nanites always yoinked back any material removed from him though the blood stains seem to be staying put while that whole section of leg dissolved. So probably isn't going that far.

Always a horror story whenever you consider the possibility of immortality to its fullest extent. ^^; Aliens find him in ten trillion years gone completely insane in the vacuum of space but from his nanites they find out a way to restart the whole universe and he becomes this grand mythical figure forevermore. :3

On the other hand, if the nanites can rebuild a chopped off limb from scratch, they probably can build something else as well. They could turn hamburgers directly into additional muscle, have him shapeshift, or absorb mass from enemies to be extra-freaky. Until they hit a bug and he turns into Tetsuo.

A few of the nanites glancing at his snout and groin areas and a very tiny set of bio-blueprints, turning them to one side and then the other. "Are we all absolutely certain nothing is supposed to be here?" A foreman nanite, with a yellow hardhat like bit on his top to show it, snatches the blueprints out of the others micro-tendrils. "We keep things as we found them on arrival! Anymore of this malfunctioning thinking and you'll be demoted to the large intestines!"

interesting idea, however i am sure zaggy wouldn't do it. pay attention to the letter on 3rd panel on page 21. zag is not even mad at alieen. that's one of the reasons i like him so much, along with rora

alieen should be given the appropriate prison sentence for her crimes, nothing else. i'm sure zag wouldn't want her dead, too.

Sadly in the cases where they found out the victim lied (the ones that I know of anyway), they get far less severe punishments than the people they accused. And even those people are acquitted of the crime, the damage on their lives has been done.

Had this crazy idea of a side story where a rapist does get thown in jail.. and testifies to clear Zaggy's name. Why?

Because when the rapist got to her, she was a virgin. (this is after the 'trial'.)

Because of that, that makes her an unreliable witness and therefore there's nothing to prosecute the second guy on. Case dismissed. He goes free, bitch gets what she claimed Zaggy did to her.

OR, she recants what she said in Zaggy's trial, second perp gets jailed and Zaggy's name is cleared. (and a judge and several lawyers are sanctioned/retired)

this is a very real issue... People get falsely convicted or even writely convicted they then pay there debt to socity and people decide on there own they havent been punished enough... humanity can be deeply cruel.

Well, if you want to go all Jigsaw on HER, she needs to be taken somewhere she won't be found, carved up - remove arms, legs, tongue, maybie an eye or two - put her on a nice thick spike, and disembowel her. Then inject her with the nanites before she dies.

Come back in 10 years or so and see if she's gone insane yet. Even if she's found, there is no helping her.

Bullying doesn't work that way. Bullies never get tired of bullying their victim. And given that everyone considers him a child rapist and his healing ability, the beatings should have become much much more cruel and bloody.
