QUICKIE: Hershey Bars
GIFT ART: Tasli's Magic Act
Up for auction is this ACO of Mubba (one of my OCs): https://www.ebay.com/itm/174820474202

The bidding begins at ONE AMERICAN CENT---A PENNY, with FREE Priority shipping (hopefully) worldwide!

HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "I live on the moon; it'd cost $40 to ship to me"

I got it like that; don't worry. lol ...My goal isn't to make money here, I'm simply honoring my promise to sell some art.

So feel free to bid---don't act like you don't want this Mubba card!

HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "Trash it---I want the pencil"

Never! D: You will never have the pencil!

Anyway, yeah... This is either my fourth or fifth annual eBay sale. THERE WILL LIKELY NEVER BE ANOTHER, so if you want a card from me, this COULD BE your last chance! D:

Anyway... This is an ACO drawing, meaning it's exactly the same size as (say) a Pokemon card. I drew the subject via a vintage Wallace Zephyr pencil (circa 1960's) and delineated it via a WWII-era Venus Velvet pencil.

My card auctions usually end at around $5-$7 USD, so this isn't gonna break anyone's bank. lol

Good luck with the selling!
It is too much of a hassle to make that since you said you might never do it again? ʘ︵ʘ

Thx! It'll sell---presently has almost $30 USD on it (which I'm unsure how to feel about).

It's not hard to make these---I make one roughly every other day, and it takes ...less than an hour (depending).

I have moral reasons why I don't accept money for my art, save for this yearly sale (which I do simply to keep a promise I made to my late S/O ...but I feel I've fulfilled that now).

It sure seems you have your reasons, I am sure it will all go well ʘ‿ʘ

30 USD is not bad! You might save those or use them to buy new pencils when the time comes?

It ended up going for close to $50 (the auction ended today).

I find that ridiculous, so the buyer's soon to get a refund (I'm not accepting that much money---it's immoral).

I need to stop buying pencils, really. XD

But I can imagine that is a good way to see there is an actual interest in your drawings!

I am betting the buyer will be very surprised.

Lol XD

I think the interest isn't so much in the art (in and of itself), but in the variety. On DeviantArt, especially, 'fanart' such as mine often ends up in pools/galleries, so the interest there is obvious.

I'm also accessible: I almost always reply to comments/faves (you may be surprised how many artists do not).

I know my place in the community and don't try to overstep or cause (real) drama; just some furry with a pencil rescued from the dust bin, drawing on paper bought on sale. Nothing more (and nothing more is needed).

Ohh, I see and it makes sense about how things are on DA... I don't know much about IB afterall.

I have notived that about you and that is appreciated (oh, I know about that... or comments that get a quick reply after months or even years).

I am like you, I don't like to call attention at all, I am very happy with how things are right now  :3 .

It is good to be content.

It has been said the unhappy man wants things he cannot have, whereas the happy man wants what he has.

I somewhat disagree, for if one has a thing (or a condition or a status), one cannot want it. :o

That said, I would rephrase to say the unhappy always wants something, whereas the happy man needs nothing.

I think it is also good to have aspirations, I just have those in DA rather than here... unless I make some more IB-related content? XD

Philosophy can be tricky, because we all want and need unique things to satisfy our own selves, but it is true that the unhappy person is always wanting something.

"Moral"... are you quite sure about that?  I would buy that pic... with a few changes...

I actually had some changes made to a pic you gave me: https://inkbunny.net/s/2486525 - LOL

I like it, but I would take it in a whole new direction. LOL

I drew Mubba nude one time, as a quickie, and hated it. ^^

Very cute job as always :3 And I actually watched that listing on eBay to look at the figures it would bring up. Looks like it sold for around 30$. Not bad! I can see why some people might be interested in art pieces like that

It was fun to watch. It sold for about $50, but the buyer is getting every penny of their money refunded once the card is delivered, as I cannot morally accept that much for a piece of paper.

Wow sounded like a bidding war for sure lol. And really? Well, yeah that makes sense. I don't blame you lol

Honestly I would have. I just need the money I have for bills lol.
