It's been a while since we last spied on Fix. Seems he's climbing rocks (probably looking for nests/eggs). As always, the butterflies still think Fix is a poppy, and Fix loves the butterflies in turn. :3
I drew this card with my Wallace Zephyr, and delineated it with the 'Twenty Grand' pencil from before. However, the card was branded and signed via this antique carpenter pencil by Eberhard Faber (it was very awkward writing with this pencil).
The sheath of this carpenter pencil appears to be made of brass (with a very rotten eraser on one end). Almost none of the original (cedar?) wood pencil remains, but (again) I was able to brand and sign my card with it. Some of the paint from the 'Eberhard' branding remains. Seems this pencil was varnished when it was new, and was lettered in gold paint. :3
